Dance music's self-appointed funnyman Lee Burridge has lined up more than twenty-two dates in the U.S, Canada and Mexico from September to December.
Barring one gig in Reykjavik, Iceland (maybe his mum lives there) fans of Lee Burridge will have to wait until mid-December to see him back in the booth on that side of the Atlantic. This month, Burridge commences new monthly 365 residencies in Los Angeles, New York City and Mexico City.
Next weekend, Burridge spins at the opening night of Giant's new weekly Saturday party at Vanguard in Los Angeles, the first gig of his new monthly Vanguard residency. Each date, Burridge will be joined by a special guest with Crosstown Rebels label boss Damian Lazarus already confirmed for October. Lee Burridge Launches Label
Words: Terry Church
DJmag.com columnist and all round bad guy Lee Burridge has announced the autumn residencies for his ‘365’ world tour, which has been such a success, he's launched his own record label.
New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City will all have to endure a month with Mr Burridge as he plans to shack up with the local DJs in each city for drinking and production collaboration purposes.
The success of Lee’s work with DJs around the world has also led to the launch of his own label Almost Anonymous.
“The idea of the label is that it’s a throwback to the days when dancefloor producers actually were semi-anonymous,” revealed Lee. “Nowadays producers are DJs and DJs are rockstars.”
The first release on Almost Anonymous will be Lee’s own ‘Treat Them Mean To Keep Them Keen’, which he produced with Hong Kong-based DJ Dan F when he stopped over at the city last November.
This will then be followed by a collaboration with Steve Porter called ‘Dirty Panty Ho Wrestlers’ which is already being touted on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection show.
So far Lee’s world tour has seen him reside in Sydney, Miami, Florence and Ibiza, and he’s documented the craziness of each city every month for DJmag.com - look out for Lee’s next ‘365’ DJ diary online very soon! |

Sorry, figured I'd let you know though. If that changes, I'll post up in this thread.
Maybe one of Lee's afterparties this fall will allow 18+ people in if they aren't serving. |
