ok, heres one to those of ya who got vinyl.
i was inspired by simcut's list of vinyls posted in the last thread lol.
how many vinyls ya ppls got?
most treasured one?
u keep tabs on what u have?
most expensive one?
favorite one (of course we always have to have this one!)?

most treasured one would be gatecrasher - disco-tech probably..
coz its got Jose amnesia - eternal hehe..
yep.. keep em all on a spreadsheet (do i have a life?) lol
most expensive one is probably Banco De Gaia - Last Train to Lhasa or Scott Hardkiss pres. God Within - The Raincry.

Hmm, don't have that many ... about two and a half crates (maybe 200 records in total) - it's not that many, but it's all stuff I play out though ... I won't buy a track if I don't love it 100%.
Most treasured one ... well, I think it's
Hallucinogen - LSD (Live Mix) on Dragonfly ... released in '95, I think ... really rare.
Hmm, I don't really keep tabs on them since it is fairly easy to remember less than 200 records ... plus, I know most my tracks in and out, so that's not really an issue. I once tried to make a list of tracks for my website, but that didn't last that long.
Most expensive one ... hmm, none in particular ... I would spend a decent ammount of money for some early CJ Bolland stuff though ...
Favourite one - hmm, that's hard. I love them all the same =) ...

yeah, i'll only get stuff that i think is really cool. i ahve between 100-125 i think, not too many at all, but i do love all my stuff. i could see that if i was a dj in a club i'd be forced to get all the new stuff and get 10-15 new vinyl a week, but i'm not a pro, and i don't have the cash beein 18 and all!
i don't keep tabs on the stuff.. i think the most treasured and favourite is kinda the same, but i can't pick one... i really love ron hagen - on steam though... it's an older song, i think some people were talking about it on the board a while back, but i know some day i'm go to a club/party and spin that track... when it breaks out i can just see people goin nuts!
most expesive.. i duuno, they're all around the same.. personally i think they're all too expensive :)

oh yeah that vinyl list is JUST my trance vinyl list ;-) I have over 3000 goa/psy/house vinyls too!
The Rarest Vinyl I have is KLF - Chill Out which is worth a lot of money
my most treasured? Clanger - Seadog on Platipus - one of my fave songs ever its so beautiful. |

I don't know how many records I have...maybe a little bit over a 100. I recently just got rid of a bunch of vinyls that I had from starting days. Stuff that when listened to now really makes me question my vinyl buying abilities ;) When I started I was just very anxious and bought anything that I thought sounded somewhat good. My most treasusred vinly, would have to be Gatecrasher-Disco-tech. Just a classic album that has soooo many great songs on it that bring back some great memories.

I only just started my vinyl collection (got about 35), but my favourite is definitely - Magnum Force (DDR & D.A.V.E. The Drummer), heard it in 99, found it a month ago and I was so stoked ;) I also love My Lexicon (Sander Kleinenberg) and Children (Robert Miles - Breeder Mix). Oh, and Feel High (Resistance D - Spacefrog & Timelord Remix).
My bank account hates me already! Looks like I'm going to be poor for the next decade or so ;) Oh well, I love it too much to stop... |
