Ow. This hurts.
Woke up this mornin' with bitching pain. Got a pee test and a CT scan done and lo and behold. I'm gonna get to piss out a rock soon!
:( At least the doc gave me vicodin.
Anyone else ever had one? What's the actualy passing of the thing like? |

Kidney stones are solid accretions (crystals) of dissolved minerals in urine found inside the kidneys or ureters. They vary in size from as small as a grain of sand to as large as a golf ball. Kidney stones typically leave the body in the urine stream; if they grow relatively large before passing (on the order of millimeters), obstruction of a ureter and distention with urine can cause severe pain most commonly felt in the flank, lower abdomen and groin.
Yeah mine has to be kinda large.. I have hella pain in the flank, right illiac region and inguinal region.

Kidney stones are most common in men in thier 20's from calcium build up.
I passed 3 in one week b4. The only painful part i had was when the stone was passing the out canal of my kidney. When it came time to piss it out i didnt even feel it cause it broke up into very very small pieces. I had to filter my piss cause the doctor wanted to analize the stone to see what caused it & to make sure it was from calcium & not acid. |

sometimes i have pains in that area after alot of sex or excessive masterbation.. i always thought it was god telling me to stop masturbating.
could this be beacause of kidney stones as well? |

lol.. if it's that big they use ultrasound to break them up.
and no, i've actually been clean from drugs (minus a couple shrooms yesterday :stongue: ) for almost two months now. |
