| what is the rarest version of this on 12" called? coz there are crap loads of diff versions, but what is the rarest of em all? |

Here are the releases of Solar Stone - Seven Cities on 12" :
1) Solar Stone - Seven Cities Disc 1 (Hooj Choons 1999)
A: Atlantis Mix
B: V-One's Living Cities Mix
2) Solar Stone - Seven Cities Disc 2 (Hooj Choons 1999)
A: Costal Mix
B: Solaris Heights Mix
3) Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Hooj Choons Promo 2000)
A: Paris & Sharp Remix
4) Solar Stone - Seven Cities Remixes Disc 1 (Lost Language Promo 2002)
A: Michael Woods Remix
B: Trans Atlantis Mix
5) Solar Stone - Seven Cities Remixes Disc 2 (Lost Language Promo 2002)
A: Ambient Dub
B: Katcha Remix
Till date, the rarest 12" is the the one numbered (1) released in 1999 Disc 1. However, you can still find these on Ebay I guess...
The number of Disc 1 releases are not known but sold out relatively in a 8-10 months span. I would say there are less than 5000 copies worldwide.
As for the latest rarest piece, it would have to be 2002 release: Disc 2 (Ambient Dub/Katcha Remix). This was released in limited numbers - probably around 1500-1800. Sold out in 2 months.
As for the Paris & Sharp Remix, it's the worst of them all...I wouldn't even pay a cent for it...
The most popular mix would have to be the Atlantis Mix aka Original Mix.
My personal favourite is the Trans Atlantis Mix, crisp sounding remix.

there are two more promos released before the retail release

i am not aware which version is the rarest of them all as you can still find one or another on ebay. the lost language promos are still available for purchase from www.hooj.com though i think disc 2 of that is no longer available.
oh and my personal fave would have to be the V-One Mix!!! |

| those lost language ones are pretty rare, they also re released them on hooj promo service where i got mine, i dont know if they still have them anymore, but like they said, you can find it on ebay |

Just some precisions :
The Paris & Sharp remix got released in late August or early September 2001 (not 2000) and the new remixes (katcha/ambient dub/transatlantic mix/michael woods) were released in late October 2001 (and not 2002)

yea i kno...hehehe...the Katcha Remix is the rarest i think...it was spun alot before it actually got released...then when it came out, still no one could get there hands on it... |
