In his crasher days he was damn good though. Not heard anything from in in ages.
And boy can he put a compilation together well. |

| Scott played for us in Vancouver a couple months ago, he was definitely on top of his game. Killer set and really nice guy as well. |

He was here a few months back.
Played a good set, the promoter was saying he's a really nice guy and very easy to get along with.
The set was meant to be recorded but about 15 mins in the recorder ran out of batteries:rolleyes: |

| Both of his Essential Mix sets, the 1998 & 1999 ones, are amazing. I wanted to know if anyone has a good copy of the Essential Mix 1998-05-24 - Scott Bond set. The one I have is 148megs (1:48:28 time) and the quality is not to good. I have downloaded one version in the past where most of the sound quality is the same throughout. Does anyone have it? |

| Scott Bond did my favourite mix ever (his essential mix from 1999) - sad to hear he is rarely around anymore or spins a load of now :/ |

Dont really understand why he isnt booked more in the UK on his reputation alone |
basically cos he's pretty crap these days. and quite up himself, too.. turned up at a night in london earlier this year & refused to play because it wasn't busy enough, so just helped himself to some free coke behind the dj booth & ed off. so i was informed by someone there, anyway... make of it what you will
last few times i've seen him he's been pretty mediocre, with ropey mixing |

Brilliant DJ and at Gatecrasher was steps away from being legendary. Such a shame what happened to his great progressive/trance club nite Ahead that had some groundbreaking and quality line ups just a shame it was set in the wrong place. Id still pay good money to see him play though. Dont really understand why he isnt booked more in the UK on his reputation alone |
i know a little about this,
i'm not giving names, so that i can't be quoted:
apparently a lot of people didn't get paid for performing, so there are a lot of unhappy people out there, hence why somebody doesn't get booked a lot anymore and his night went down the drain |

well his mixing has never been that amazing anyway matt hardwick was always the one that was better mixing wise at gatecrasher and scott bond was better at track selection that the way i always saw it and ive seen them both many times. |
