That was easily the most wicked party ive ever seen.. Vodafone arena amazed me.. it has so much more flat area than rod laver - probably due to the fact that they can lift all those seats up at the ends...
Fergie played this track near the end of his set with this vocal of a guy going "Everybody ok out there?"
does anyone know what its called? cheesy as but i liked it :P
and props to tiesto for cutting fergies last track before the breakdown! I hate the second trip! |

what a great night
goldie was as tough as ballbearings! did my head in but it was something different and he clearly was enjoying himself
john 00 was very good...not his best set in melbourne...but you must take this facotrs into consideration:
1. john was expecting to play a 2 hour set..and had carefully programmed his set...the last 30 mins which was cut due to goldies set was going to be some pretty banging stuff and he mixed as good as sasha could have..and remember...he threw in the tilt remix of children along with ambassador-the fade!!
2. secondly john was the first of the trance/tek trance djs on stage....as a true professional he did he job well to warm up the following djs
fergie was suprisingly not bad..his last 30 mins wasnt the best but the first 90 mins was quite good!
it was great to see him drop agnelli and nelson-everyday!!! and rank1-awakening
tiestos set was absolutely fantastic great to hear classics such as urban train and insigma..he also dropped his new remix of paul oakenfold-southern sun as well as playing close to you and lethal industry from the alboum along with the kosheen/flight 643 bootleg even speedy j was thrown in there!!...tiesto was clearly loving it..he threw out some singed records to the crowd...judging by his entusiasm and the smiule on his face i think he will be back out before the years end
next was picotto...only stayed in there for 20 mins but he had a much cleaner sound than he did a year ago...more techy and some trancy elements....hard house finally dying?
walked in seb fontaines set...and walked out 2 mins after...i just cant sit there and listen to a dj that i used to love in 99 and early 2000 playing the crap that he was last night....heard he playued atlantis as last song...hope he doesnt come back for another 2 years
last of all managed to catch harry choo choo romero..2nd time ive seen him and he hasnt dissapointed great to see him drop lil louis-french kiss and night at the black!
production was great....greatest event put on in melbourne id say...hope fe and hardware stick with the same formula next year....id say there were bout 16 or 17 thousand people there
tracks played on the night:
Tiesto:
insigma-open your eyes
king of clubs-revelation(airwave remix)
dj tiesto-urban train
dj tiesto-lethal industry
dj tiesto-close to you
windsider-hidden flight
cj bolland-the prophet
way out west-mindcircus(dj dazzle remix)
speedy j-electric deluxe
paul oakenfold-southern sun(tiesto remix)
john 00 fleming:
tilt-children
ambassador-the fade (lieb remix)
aquanauts-deep blue sea(martin eyerer mix)
astral projection-anything is possible
orange- orange 1
leama-melodica(humate remix)
morph-maximum overdrive
fergie:
agnelli and nelson-everyday(original or graham gold remix)
rank 1-awakening
dj elite-that fuct camera
and 2 marco v tracks |

Well here i am, back in Adelaide forn a fantastic weekend. I had a great time in Melbourne with my mates, and will be sure to be coming back next year.
Well first off we got there about 5 o'clock. There werent many people there but i was still pumped at the wicked set up. Then when they opened the doors into the tennis centre everyone was pissed off cos they couldnt get into the main arena. I was one of the lucky ones that slipped in upstairs and got to see the stage before anyone was there. I was blown away with the setup and could hardly contain myself (but was then kicked out by security cos we all werent meant to be there or something).
I basically lived in the main arena for the night. Mark James and Sean Quin were great. Then came on Goldie. I'm not much of a d'n'b person but he was great. Didnt mind the MC either.
Then came John 00 Fleming. I was a bit disappointed with the first 30 mins of his set, so i went outside for a while. There people from outside pulled down the fence and tried jumping over another fence to get in. Everyone was cheering them on, it was cool! Anyone else see that??
Fergie was ING CRAZY!! Loved the energy in his set. He was very hard and fast, loved every minute of it. He was probably the highlight of my night.
Then came the man Tiesto. He was ING FANTASTIC!! He played and mixed crazily, and he really gets the crowd going. Good to see there were many other Tiesto fans there. THere was some guy who kept holding up this soccer shirt which is aparently Tiestos fav team...crazy! I went psycho wehn i heard Southern Sun coming on...some other people did too, maybe other TA's?? :) Guys in the crowd were saying to me how ign awesome Tiesto was, and how much they had been hanging out to see him, then i told them i was from Adelaide and they were like "Whoa youre the biggest fan ever!" :) Does anyone know what song that was where Tiesto pretended he was playing the violin??
Unfortunately for me i had been walking around the Melbourne Markets all day and my feet were faaaarked! I had no energy for Picotto, so could only stay for 30 mins (plus i had a bus to catch back to Adelaide).
Thanks Melbourne for the best weekend of my life. Wil definately be back next year! Unfortunately my photos didnt turn out at all. Stoopid dodgy disposable cameras!! :( |

Just a question, was that:
DJ Tiesto - Lethal Industry (mauro picotto remix)
that Picotto play to start off his set?? If so then Lethal industry was played by Fergie, Tiesto and Picotto....
Did anyone notice how only bout 45 mins after Fergie played Lethal Industry Tiesto played it. Do you think Tiesto knew this? I just think its unusual that the same song was played by 2 djs straight after each other. From memory they were the same mixes as well. |

Not just that, can anyone remember how many times Picotto played Urban Train? It seemed to me like 4 times!!!! |

whoa that was awesome!
i've never been to anything like that before, it was amazing! the sounds, the lights, the people, well worth the money and i'm definetly going back again! i got there about 10:30 or 11 or something, there was a pissup at my place because my sis' friends bday party was there (they are moving house so we hosted it), when i got there i wandered around for a bit and headed off to see the end of goldie, haha he was funny. i think one of the turntables broke or wasnt working right and he had these worried looks on his face it was classic, he was pulling guys over and like fix it fix it! then when he finished he came out and was wandering around the stage trying to get us to make more noise. then 00 flemming came out and to be honest i was surprised, i had downloaded an essential mix by him and i think i found it a bit boring, but this was mad! he was really enjoying himself, smiling all the time, dancing around, singing the words, he was having a ball and so was i!! fergie came on next but i didnt really stay for all of it, a couple of friends turned up and i went for a walk, came back and they were gone hehe. then when fergie finished tiesto was on! that was great, he was really into it and having fun. he played 'the prophet' and i went nuts, he came up and started throwing signed records into the crowd. afterwards someone jumped the barrier to go get their motorcycle helmet signed and he did it! then picotto came on and he rocked too! i didnt like the first couple of tracks that much but after that it was great. he kinda seemed like a zombie for a while, just going through the motions with a blank look on his face i thought but he opened up later and kept doing encores like renegade said. speaking of which it was good to actually meet a couple of people, found stipsy straight away because of his shirt hehe and rengade from his description. and trancylvania (sp?) good to meet you too but I AM SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!! when you were talking to me and i had no idea what you were saying!! that was very embarrassing! but on the whole it was a great night/morning ;) i came home at about 8:45 and went to bed, in the end i didnt go to uni slept all day hehe. so yeah it was great! wooo!
