Lol, yeah it's always nice. I have converted a couple of people now (not just for trance, but electronic music in general). :D

Yeah its pretty cool. Especially when you go take them to see your favorite DJ and see they are having just as much fun as you are. :)

sure turning people onto trance is fun but I like to have more of a challenge. For example, it is more challenging to turn someone onto country music, but if you are like me & love challenges then it becomes a mission in life to succeed to the max!

Things I am yet to accomplish:
-Turning people onto religions & then turning them back to athiest.
-Turning a frog into a beautiful virgin princess
-Getting a pig to mate with a goat
-Turning cancer into fast food, and then creating a cancer franchises.
-Turn right in my car on a 'LEFT ONLY' sign.

You see, by doing the above, I will turn into a successful person with a fulfilled fruitful life, and a better person than any of you to the max.

It's one thing to get them to listen to trance, it's another to make them understand and appreciate it.

I'm content with letting people listen to what they want, and if they're interested in what I'm listening to then inform them a bit more as to artists and songs to check out. I hate going about preaching on how "my music is somehow better than theirs because it's repetative and requiring more in-depth thought."

In the end you can come off as pompous. And I still don't know why people that listen to electronic music, namely trance, feel they have this necessity to "spread the magic" or whatever they call it.

I definitely have to agree with you on that one - It s me bigtime when other people push their music views on me because theirs is "better than mine."

But like you said, if somebody is interested in the tunes I'm playing, it's always good to suggest some other similar artists or tracks. Thats how I got into electronic music in the first place - From other people's suggestions :)

And another side note. Most trance is poop anyways these days. I bet only 30% of the c0r even really listens to trance any more.
