ive styled my hair with either wax, gel, moose, hairspray, whatever else i find in my house since i was old enough to do it.
aslong as u wash ur hair often then there is no damage, but how can there be? you're probably only putting stuff in the same piece of hair for 2 months at the most before its grown out and cut off.

| the new gels dont affect hair much, the ones from back in da day MIGHT have damaged it to the point of burning it, but not to the point of balding... |

| I spike mine every day. Takes me about 30 seconds. As long as you regularly wash your hair, which you should do whether you use gel or not, then there shouldn't be a problem. |
