I'm a complete househead, but grabbed this tune a while back, and gave it one, maybe two listens... but WOW. Did this ever grow on me. Everything about the original is so nice, I can't explain it. Ashley Tomberlin's vocals are so haunting, and Above and Beyond did an AMAZING job with the production of this track....
How did I miss this then!
Definatley on my list for this year. Just a beautiful track. |

| It sort of grew on me, but those vocals man. They are just obliteratingly whiney whispery, which is odd that I'm not completely dead-set on liking them since I like most whispery vocal tracks. Can't Sleep is a tad overboard on emphasizing them. Tomberlin does better when she's doing Luminary tracks. |

Her Luminary tracks are speechless. But there is just something about this track, i've got sort of a personal attatchment to it now, and that usually doesn't happen, which just makes it more special. I just get these feelings that I've never gotten from a proggy tune before, especially when the melody drops after the break down, I. ing. Melt. ...:eyespop: |

The Maori levi remix is good, but remove the vocals and the track really has nothing left that resembles the original. When it comes to the original, if you like the vocals there is no problem, remove the vocals and you have quite a dull tune, then it's better not listening to it at all. Because it is indeed dull imo, the original is the weaker than most of the other mixes. The one that stands out the most imo is the Sonorous remix, very solid production. I'm a big fan of Sonorous. Then i like Signum's remix, it sounds a little more fast-paced. ATB remix is nice, the final part where the lead gets huge and loud is not my favourite but overall it's good. ATB's beats are also more funky and dance-friendly than A&B's.
The vocals? I both like them and not like them. I love the verses but the chorus is really whiney. |

"If I said "I want you back" I'd realise - there's nothing left for us to hold on anymore" - eerie accompaniment. I love this track |

| i think the vocals would suit a chilled out mix quite well, they don't really work for club music that well |
