Recording Net radio?

Is there a way i can record stuff off of net radio? like the bbc broadcasts from there site and other radio stations that broadcast online. do i need some sort of software to do it?

you basically put a mic very close to the speakers and use the windows recorder. that's the only way.

get streamripper for winamp. And I'm not helping you any more than to tell you to search it in the winamp plugin search thingy.

There are a few programs on download.com, but be careful and turn off every single sound on your computer since it records everything.

yeh i just downloaded audacity and discovered that. thanks for the help guys

Not streamripper ;)

Streamripper only records the selected stream. It also records over buffers as long as you don't double click the stream to restart it. Streamripper for winamp is ftw.

Is there a program that you can "program" just like a VCR to start recording at a certain time?
