SUPPORT TRANCE EVENTS
THERE'S NOT THAT MANY TRANCE EVENTS, BUT AS LONG AS WE SUPPORT THE FEW EVENTS THAT DO POP UP EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, CLUB OWNERS & PROMOTERS WILL CONTINUE TO BOOK TRANCE ACTS
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
IF YOU HAVE MYSPACE, CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT PICTURE TO THE FLYER (DONT WORRY YOU CAN ALWAYS CHANGE IT BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL PICTURE), SEND OUT BULLETINS (ONLY TAKES A SECOND), EVENT INVITES, COMMENTS & MESSAGES
IF YOU HAVE AOL, MSN, YAHOO, ETC (INSTANT MESSANGER) GO DOWN YOUR FRIENDS LIST & LET THEM KNOW ABOUT THE EVENT
TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO TELL THEIR FRIENDS & ENCOURAGE THEM TO DO THE SAME
POST ON OTHER EDM WEBSITES (MESSAGE BOARDS / FORUMS / ETC)
KEEP TRANCE ALIVE, DANCE OR DIE!

Yes I've got myspace. This is what I have been doing to keep trance alive...
Ive been spamming bulletins (on myspace) with links to my blog where I have uploaded tons of trance sets. I also registered with 8 other EDM related message boards (internationally) and I post all of the links to the sets I have uploaded there as well.
I always send flyers around to people on my friends list to events that I am going to attend and write a review of the event afterwards.
I am constantly seeking to meet new trance heads :) and TrancEaddicts :p I contact DJ's and producers whenever I have the opportunity and provide feedback and/or compliments on theyre work.
Now....WHY ARE YOU TYPING IN ALL CAPS????
You may as what the hell I am doing in the Florida forums. Ummmm I am bored outta my MIND! |

due some unfortunate health issues, my hubby and i can't go to the latest trance events in so. fla but we support the scene from the sidelines. it is wonderful to know that all these amazing international and local dj's are still providing my much beloved trance to the clubs here. if we could go we would so if you can represent then do so.

the musics quality is def there.
one thing that i think is missing big time from almost all the trance events, except maybe when Tiesto is in town, is a lack of females!!!
We have to find a way to promote to them that this style of music is something they would enjoy coming to hear and dance too.
Not sure how Tiesto's people managed to get such a large female following, but what ever they do it works! |
