Labourers/Mechanics make good money, and I wish I had gotten into it right out of high school instead of wasting my time with college. |
This is very true....people will spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on an "edumacation", only to graduate and be jobless.
Makes me wonder if college is slightly over-rated? |

na. An amazing experience for most ppl that go, even all education aside. Just a great few years you'll never repeat in your life. |

Definitely can be......but for what cost? Unless mommy and daddy are paying for it.....is an "amazing experience" of a lot of puking worth $20,000 +/- ? I think amazing experiences can happen in your early 20's with or without going to a university....it's just a matter of how much debt you want to be in, in the end. |

you really can't understand it until you try it. It's real easy to look at it from the outside "yeah, college kids, sex, drugs, and alcohol - what's so special?" but it's really not that at all, it's a huge maturing experience - thousands of little things combined into a whole journey, and i'd waste time trying to list them. And, yes, it costs money - but what in life doesn't?
but i'll agree with you on the fact that amazing experiences happen in early 20's in general. :p |
