I deliberately left it like that instead of putting (well, maybe the family) in parentheses, because they aren't. Maybe if they were ing pussies.
They could be disgusted and outraged, but they are certainly not victims. When you're dead, you are a piece of flesh with no soul. Unless you're someone elses property, if something bad happens to you, it's a victimless crime.
They might be emotionally attached to the person, but once the person dies, it's just a corpse.
