Anyone hear this track? It's not trance, i know, but i'm sure plenty of you know of it. I personally find this a very original and interesting piece. Yes, it's rather graphic and violent, but it's very different and brilliant in a way too. It's like a short film - a skit so to say - done through a rap song. Eminem does such a great job of acting through his voice alone, very expressive and emotional tone and lyrics.
And dr. dre's production in this is amazing as usual, just listen to the piano line in the song. Also, this is one of the few tracks where Eminem "sings" and it's actually not bad at all.

| Sucks. Though it makes a nice rage venting track, and at least it's not gangsta rap, I'll give it that much. |

i noticed something
the song 'kim' and the song '97 bonnie and clyde' on his slim shady LP album are connected in a way
the events in '97 bonnie and clyde' (he dumps kim's body in the water) happen after the events in the song 'kim' (he kills kim)
and yet '97 bonnie and clyde' was released before 'kim'
there's also a distinct sample which is used in both songs (eminem pulled over on a highway to clean himself up after the killing I assume... you can hear the car door slam at the end of 'kim' and at the beginning of '97 bonnie and clyde')
am I the only one who noticed this? |

| I like it. I think it's a great exaggerated expression of the frustration that comes with dealing with a significant other who you have real problems with, but still love. |

You'd have to be pretty stupid not to notice it seeing they are a part of the same storyline and the identical intro/outro. |

| Eminem is pretty boring to me now. It's the same thing over and over. |

It's a very original and ballsy song, the likes of which had not been seen before in mainstream culture....he was always very good at expressing his rage through song....Nowadays he completely sucks, his incredible music died when Slim Shady was put to rest.
But I don't really care anymore b/c hip hop is more of a thing of the past for me now, at least for the most part. |
