I ventured back to exit this past fri b/c my friend Victor Dinaire was spinning on the mainfloor. We got there round 12:15, some guy from Satellite Records was spinning, it wasn't packed. He was aight.
The booth is awesome, very spacious. 8 tables & no needles :eyes:. Rane mixer. 2 huge monitors & 4 speakers behind u. They added 6 speakers to the mainfloor. The sound was excellent, clean and crisp.
Victor came on at 2:30. He opened w/Black Master- Black is back. He tore it up! These ppl didn't know what hit them, a in MONSOON! Victor slaughtered them! I was back & forth in the booth or dancing in front of the booth. He killed 2 records of Lissat & Harada- Montana's Trancett. It was INSANE! This is 1 of Vic's fav tunes..its a sleeper, no one knows about it. Around 4 it got packed. It was packed but there was still room to dance. The crowd was loving Victor, he's very high energy like Tiesto. I had a great time, met very cool ppl, made some new friends. :D Then I had afterhours at my apt...oof which went till 3pm. I hope Victor becomes a resident! :D

Good to hear that Exit improving the sound system.. So we can fully enjoy Ferry and Armin when they hit Exit..

The crowd was asian & young cheesey bridge & tunnel ppl. There was a shirtless wannabe juice head midget dancing on the speaker it was hysterical.
The sound & music was awesome! Exit is working on improving & controlling the crowd. The Talent and sound is fabulous. I'm giving exit another chance. |
