Finally, not to thread-jack, but does anyone know how the crowds at the Roxy would be when Rauhofer is there? I'm into that kind of house, but I have to admit that, as homophobic as this sounds, being hit on by a bunch of gay guys isn't my idea of a good time.

Im pretty sure Rauhofer does only gay nights @ Roxy but Ive seen him with my ex gf and it was fine but a bit wierd but at that point was really into my ex so didnt give a :stongue:

Wow, good thing I went home for the weekend and missed that disaster. I'd be pretty pissed if I heard The Wall dropped in the middle of a house set. That said, I'm hoping the 18+ crowd at G&D next week is better.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to defend the minority of us 18-21 who are there for the music and not to jack anybody's hat. We do exist, just wanted to make that known :)

A) i am 19 haha so i, for one, know that there is enough kids there for the music and vibe, then to get ass and steal hats :)

B) i went to see junior vasquez once @ spirit and to tell u the truth, i really had a good time! haha i went with a girl i was friends with so i felt a lot more comfortable than had i been alone, trust me, some of those gay nights are a lot of fun and filled with awesome beats... that was the only one i went to but my friend cat went to gay night @ spirit like every week and LOVED it, moreso than regular nights @ spirit/crobar/etc.

Well, that's not to say that I'm entirely opposed to getting ass, but it's not the main reason I'm there ;)

faghags can be hot man...

I had a good time because it was different. I'm getting sick of hearing the same mainstream tracks getting played everytime I go out. Most of the stuff Porter played I didn't know, and that made it interesting. It's hard to find a packed out big room party with the DJ spinning decent music that I've never heard.

croud was young, Porter was decent, the flow wasnt there, but tracks were good...
Good seeing Tom, aka Enigma..

Why exactly would you automatically assume that just cause a group of people is gay, that they are automatically required to hit on you, and why would you post that stupid assumption on a public forum? Do you think that is gay guys' purpose in life? Do you think you're that ridiculously good looking that you're nothing but a gay magnet? Why would you assume something like that? Get your head out of your ass, idiot.

hey ease up... when i went to see junior vasquez, i got hit on a bunch of times (AND it was 21+ to enter and i JUST turned 18, and looked 16-17 at that point lol)... it was kinda wierd, and it happend somewhat often for me to say i'd expect it again if i were to go again, but i was with a chick so i dealt, it wasnt nething degrading or nething.... its not ignorant for him to think hes gunna get hit on, its a nightclub... if he expected all gay guys to hit on him in broad daylight on the street, just because theyre gay, then id say, ok, youre right for blasting him, but ease up

Just think it's dumb when people have a REAL problem getting hit on by others of the same sex, I'm not talking about being annoyed, cause you can get annoyed getting hit on by the opposite sex. But think about it. Someone found you attractive. Does it really matter what gender they are? They were just attracted to you. People act like it's something so out of the ordinary and so strange that it would ruin their night, wow, a guy hit on you, wow, that's disgusting. Comments like that show real immaturity imo...

I don't think it's a big deal, but think of the number of times you've heard a female complain about getting hit on out at clubs when they aren't interested.
