Somewhat of a review:
It's about 10:30pm. We've finally reached our destination. London.
After my crap sense of direction, Shawn happens to find some awesome free parking.
We get out, it's chilly. We walk near the club. Cattles of people. There are two HUGE ing line ups. WTF.
Guys are all dressed the same. White pin stripe collar shirts paired with jeans and black leather shoes. Ladies are sexy. We saw a couple stumble over. meow. Very lively.
it, I told Shawn we can wait till Josh comes and go in with him. [So we wouldn't have to wait in line].
Anyway, we started roaming around - it was kinda cool like a little adventure. We tried to find a Tim Hortons. I finally asked a lady and she said there was one down the street.... "if it's still opened". :|
Turns out it was closed. gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Anyway, walking around in downtown, London. I must say I was quite impressed. We had past by a gay club, a rippers, a reggae and couple of happening pubs and bubs. Shawn finally picked a pub to hang out at for a bit.
The atmosphere felt very much like walking into a high school cafeteria. Grabbed a table, sipped on our burrrrrs. yum.
Oops. I missed a text message. . I get Shawn to chug my beer. Off we go.
I first approached the bouncer, like a n00b asking if I was on the list or some - told go near the side entrance.
So I wasn't on the list. bahahahaha, whatever. They were very nice to Shawn and myself. I was quite impressed.
The security were not rude to us at all. In fact, they were really friendly.
Anyway, we walk in. HOLY COW. Big loud, hip hop part of the club. BOOF BOOF. BOOF BOOF - wind ya batty.
It was PACKED. It was bumpin, humpin. My Mission: To get Shawn and I across the dancefloor. I grab him and we weave in and out of the ass and titties.
FINALLY - we get to the basement. My only two complaints about this club.
ONE - the floor was incredibly sticky. It was awful. You really got a work out from dancing cause you really had to lift yer feet up to move. Some parts of the floor were ok.
TWO - incredibly slow bar service. Less skin and more pour please. Whatever. Thanks to Shawn - I got my fill. :haha:
I saw Amanda and Michelle at the end of the bar. yaaaaaay - but booze first.
The dj beforehand was pretty wicked, I don't know his name. The basement is full, but not packed.
It was fun dancing next to Amanda and Michelle - as Amanda makes fun of all the n00bs. Something along the lines, they think this is trance. teee heee heee
Lo and behold, in walks in JELO.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
holy cow. did that bitch kick the out of those speakers.
we dance...and danced....and danced....and danced.... until the lights came on.
I can't even remember any of the tracks. Let tell you something. Not one person in that room was still. Everyone was screaming, dancing, fists punched into the air - all night long.
you know what our Jelo did?
DID YOU KNOW WHAT HE DID?
He stopped the music, thanked us as usual for coming out [while some london n00b kept yelling TTTTT DOTTTT TTT DOOT]
Made us screamed till our throats were hoarse - demanding he plays ONE MORE TRACK! ONE MORE TRACK! ONE MORE TRACK!
What does he do? play for another THIRTY MINUTES. I almost died. Amanda, Michelle, Shawn and I were all dancing.
I was doing my pixie-hopped-up-on-a-lot-of-redbull-dance and bobbed my head until it fell off.
what a great night!
I wish that set was recorded.

London people really know how to rawk with their cawk out.

Conclusion of the night:
Shawn is awesome for taking me. Otherwise, i would have stayed home sleeping.
I love Amanda and Michelle, if I lived in London I would be love to be their third wheel. teeeeee heee.

was awesome seeing you again and meeting Shawn .. again Shawn i appologize for allways stopping and standing in front of you all night .. feel free to just move me out of the way lol
Phoenix was so packed last night .. you sure can tell the students are back in town.
Jelo played the hardest .. dirtiest set i have ever heard from him .. it was absolutely freaking incredible!

so near the end jelo comes from the booth and dances and i walk over and look at him with my jaw to the ground and yell OH.....MY.....ING......GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he says so modestly and almost blushing... "really?" and all i could say was OH......MY......ING.....GOD!!!! he said thank you and i went back to breakin my neck dancing speechless!
never does he fail to surprise me and never do i stop growing more respect for his talented ass!
what an amazing night my neck is in serious pain i just woke up and think i need to stay in bed today fo sho!

well time for me to chime in ...
awesome night i couldn't agree more that was JELO's best set i have heard all summer he kick the sh*t out of the place.

amanda and michelle it was great to meet you, london TA are the best. Michelle there is no problem with you getting in front of me B/C i would rather it be you then a dude :D
