I was curious to know where you guys would cue your tracks when using cdj mode. do you set the cue point on the very first frame of the beat your cueing, or do you set the cue point on the frame before the frist frame of that beat?

I do it on the very first frame of the beat
If you want to do it before that frame that's ok, you just need to know when to release it.
do what you feel more comfortable with. |

at first i couldnt figure out what you mean..i always set the cue right before the beat so when i hit "cue" or "play" it starts RIGHT on the beat. timing is a personal thing imo though.

yeah i considered making a short video to better illistrate my question but then decided against out of pure laziness. Most of the time cue it itt on the first frame of the beat, although i ocasionally cue it on the frame before that, depending on the track.

can't say I'm that fussy about the excat position, just near the start of the beat, and press the cue a few times on the beat before play to make sure I drop it in time.
