Help me clean out my closet!

I just bought a bunch of new clothes, so I figured I might as well get rid of some of my old stuff. The problem is, I'm finding it really hard! I have 40 some odd pairs of jeans/pants that I'm trying to minimize, but for some reason I can't let go of them...even though I barely wear most of them.
I guess it's because they still fit well, and aren't really out of style. But I'm trying to convince myself I don't NEED 40 pairs of pants.

| You guys are missing my point. I know what I'm going to do with the clothes, I just can't bring myself to actually get rid of them. It's like I fear that I'll get rid of something, and then find myself wanting to wear it again after I've already gotten rid of it. Ugh. Wtf?? |
