the first time we went there i was like dubai...wtf is that. i was thinking 3rd world poor place. then when i get out and about, i was highly impressed. clean, no crime, lots of money in that area.
i'd love to go back and visit anytime. |

thank god i didn't have to explain it. :toothless and silly? LOLOL more like delirious cause i haven't slept since digweed [ok, maybe 7hrs ttl].
dubai looks gorgeous, and some big DJ's always there [and beirut, 'til recently]. have been repeatedly told that dubai's fairly inexpensive, despite the affluence one sees on the travel channel ;) |

explain what :whip:
last time i was there was 2004. i talked with some other people who were stationed there and said they were getting bank living there. per diem, living in some upscale apartments for free, and being drove to and from work.
anyhow, i didn't get to stay out past 1am and couldn't hit the real clubs like i wanted to. i was just teased by knowing that nick warren and dave seamen would be in the area.
i got some rugs and jewelery that were fairly inexpensive compared to US prices during that time. |

i think they do solo gigs now adays cos theyre worth more seperate. j ust like digweed and sasha they make more money apart. and when they are summoned together they can charge alot more.
