good luck Eric! :)
are you taking the test on a manual or automatic?
I failed my test the first time round in Kitchener. The instructor said I was speeding :( So the second time I took the test, I drove the limit the first instructor told me and the guy turns to me and asks why I am driving so slow. I explained it to him and he couldn't believe the last dude failed me for that and I passed and that was that. I was not nervious the second time round though either. :p |

it's quoted as the WORST place in ONTARIO to take you G licence test - but all the best - just watch for all the one ways!;) |

In all honesty it's not that bad out here...and we don't have any one way streets where you'll be taking the test. A little known fact is that you can also request to be tested by the older looking guy (looks like Super Mario). You should have no problems. Good luck. ;) |

i passed it from the first shot
some key points
always move your head left and right when switching or not switching lanes, 2 hands on the wheel, no speeding, no sudden turns, when getting on or off the highway go the speed that is reccomended (ie. 40km), always let pedestrians through no matter what, 20km on the parking lot, always use the signal, when making a left on to a big street switch to the right lane, 3 point turn, emergency stop, reverse parking. Done. |

lucky for me I never had to take the G test.. Had my G2 then went to school in the states.. They don't have graduated licencing in Texas so I got a full licence with my G2. Then the laws in Canada state that if you have a full licence for two years in the states you automatically get a G licence in Canada. SO voila, I got to skip it altogether..
goodluck on your exam.=] |
