I've probably listened to this 10 times now, great work. It's one of the sets that I've been going to start off my days in the office.

Big fan of a couple of tracks in there, particularly Kupon - Zoom Out, Alex Smoke - Make My Day, and Tigerskin - Neontrance

Thanks guys. I have taken this with me on the actual redline, and it performed great. :)

four problems in order of gravity:

i find that most mixes come a bit late, and as a result leave what is for most intents and purposes, an energy hole between each pair of tracks.

also, it seems to me the set moves too much for the length of time it has to work with in total.

the track that comes around minute 37 (it's either 9 or 10, didn't make sure which) is very powerful and imo requires more of a build towards than it has.

the whole 'dreamzone' area between minutes 62 and 71 comes in seemingly without necessity, and hence, feels artificial in the set. but even more 'artificial', is the closing track of the set, which feels completely unrelated to everything that preceded it.

regardless, an enjoyable set.

methodology: 2 consecutive full listens followed by a browse listen for verification

Cheers Alon. :)

I was not happy with most of the mixing in the second half. I felt it needed better eqing.

I've been listening to this again recently, and I think I can safely say this was my best effort of 2006. I've been able to recognize the faults of this mix due to re-listening and the helpfull critisism of TA, and all those who have posted in this thread. Thank you all again for listening, and happy new year :)

Wish I could give you a more in depth report, but I was listening to this today while boarding. As already stated, your mixing is some of the best I find on here, and your track placement is superb. Outhouse was the perfect close the mix. And yeah, this was IMO, by far your best effort of the year.
