In related news I nearly left Mrs. Hazard but changed my mind once I realized Jamie didn't love me in "that way"

Wasn't there an episode of "That 70's show" about that quote being unoriginal for a high school quote?

No offense, because I know you like it :)
Slylee

Yup, and let's face it, nothing about "Truckin'" is really all that "original" anymore, but for Craig in particular right now, and on a website like TA, seeing a quote from a Dead song definitely brings a smile to my face :)

Robert Hunter wrote a LOT of Grateful Dead tunes, that's from "Truckin'"

And Jamie, I've been meaning to get back to your PM from last week, but I just got the internets back, so I'll shoot you something this week ;)

Yeah, as Rob said.... Robert Hunter wrote the lyrics to most of the Grateful Dead's songs. Trucking (R. Hunter/J. Garcia) is the song that line is from (although he attributes that portion of the song to the band itself as an adlib he later re-worked and added to the final draft).

Fear & Loathing (both "In Las Vegas" & "On the Campang Trail") were written by Hunter S. Thompson

It seemed especially poignant given my retirement.
