i have quite a few. The ones that piss me off the most, in no particular order:

- Virtually all of England's spectacular and heartbreaking losses in major tournaments that I've witnessed in my life. The agony against the germans and lately the Portuguese, etc...

-Montreal Canadiens losing to Calgary in the Cup Final in 1989.

-Canada losing hockey olympic semi final to the Czechs in 98 and the World Cup final in 96.

- Yankees losing the 2001 World Series, game 7 with Rivera blowing the easy save. Also losing to Boston in the ALCS two years ago...that was very upsetting. but things are back to normal in the baseball world now. Yankees = good Red Sox = e.

1999-2000 fa cup semi final at wembley, bolton vs aston villa. we were in division one, villa the premiership, they had a much hyped about team with merson, benito carbone & so on. We outplayed them over 90 minutes, gudjohnsen had a great run, he beat 4 men, then david james out wide, crossed the ball, near open goal from 5 yards, dean holdsworth blazed over. We were behind that goal & it was hell. Eventually it went to penalties and david james saved a couple of ours, he looked huge in the goals tho, being behind the ones they were taken at, it was like wow, he's enormous.

In terms of playing, the time when I (and my doubles partner) lost the deciding match for the state championship for my high school team, in tennis.

In terms of watching, well in years past, there were "Oh that sucked" moments that happened to teams that I wanted to win, like Mitch Williams giving up the home run to Joe Carter in the 1993 World Series, Kenny Rogers walking in the winning run in the 1999 NLCS, and Aaron Boone against the Red Sox in the 2003 ALCS (this coming after Pedro was left in for too long).
But witnessing Yadier f-ing Molina in person a few nights ago hurt the most by far, at least in recent memory.

I agree with Lance in that I really don't take sports too seriously anymore. I cried when a couple of my teams lost when I was 11 years old or something but as I got older, many of my teams have lost and it stays with me for a little bit but then I move on. Many of my friends though take it as life or death and I just can't get like that, especially having real life issues much more painful.
