Listen to my transition

I have been spinning for about a month now. I recorded myself tonight. Wow, now that I hear a recording of myself I know how to improve. Any bedroom DJ that is learning should record themselves.

It's two different generes, but it was my best transition. I would never play these two back to back at a club.

Massimo Cominotto - Gula-Matari (Techno Mix)
-into-
Ascension - Someone (Binary Finary Remix)

I have to practice, practice, practice!

Hi Blake,

I took a listen to it. It's not perfectly smooth, and it seems to be done a little hastily. But having said that, I couldn't have done a better job myself. Very good effort!

The transition good, but you need to tighten it up a little bit.
You can clearly hear the beats slowly drifting apart, you may have to adjust the pitch just a super small amount.
Other than that, it was still a decent transition, especially if you are very new!

i can't mix for right now because well i dont ahve a mixer and some good headfones =]. But anwyays, when u mixed in the new track, its noticable that you're lowering the volume of the 1st track. oh well maybe i'll do the same..

C'mon people, I think it's a decent attempt for a beginner?

Well, Im sorry to say this I really feel bad, but this mix is not good at all.
First of all its very very hasety like mentioned beofre, you lowered the previous track's volium too soon, and you didnt even try to correct the beats even though they were totally unmatched.
I Think you should concentrate on your beatmatch allot and use the EQ on your mixer more often.
Dont give up mate try hard and there shal be light :)
Dj_ExOn
Damn man! You have to improve on your beatmatching skills. That sounded like , but dont give up and if you work hard that there will be tight as a virgin .
