I'm taking an amazing journey the weekend of September 7-9, 2007, and I'd like you to join me. Thousands of women and men are going to walk 60 km through the streets of Toronto over the course of two days to raise money for breast cancer research at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

I've formed Aurora's Angels in memory of my good friend and neighbour who passed away from breast cancer on my wedding day, October 6, 2004. As you may know, my own mother was diagnosed with breast cancer this year. My good friend girllovingtvibe (who helped me throw those fabulous fundraisers at Lolita's Lust) is going to join me on the event. Together, the two of us hope to raise at least $5000 for the cause. And now we're thinking even bigger. We want to invite as many friends as we can to join Aurora's Angels and walk with us.

I know it's a big commitment, but I promise that I will do all I can to help you train for the event and raise the money. There is strength in numbers!

I hope you will join Aurora's Angels. Take some time to think about it and email me back! The registration fee right now is only $25, but it will go up to $75 soon!

Love,
muzzybear

I am thinking about it, seeing as I lost my mother to Cancer and we grew up in Aurora as well... And I also knew Aurora , and my dad is a cancer survivor, and I work with numerous people with Cancer.:( It's truly the saddest epidemic other then HIV:sadgreen:
