Ok, so I started thinking about something, and its got me thinkin pretty hard.

So, you know when people say "yeah Im half English...25% german, yada yada, etc."...well, how is the USA going to factor into this? Say in 250 years. Like, for me, I'm something like 80% English, then the rest Scottish and German. So, in the future...if say, my son who doesnt even exist yet moved to England, and then started a family there...would he then be part American? Will "American" ever really be considered? how the does the whole heritage thing work?

Or how about the families that moved from...say, France to England...do the later generations who live in England still consider themselves part French?

how the does the whole heritage thing work?

my family has been in north america (US territory) for about 400years now. We can trace ourselves back to a scottish knight, Charlemagne (Holy Roman Emporer), and King Orb of some northern-germanic kingdom. but my mom's side were 5hi7 shovellers in hungary...

unless your son mates with an american girl, i dont think it would count at all
