| Another thing about the DJ poll: I was reading this thread about the Montreal shooting, and I see swamper saying sorry to hijack your reading, but blah blah blah, vote in TA dj poll. I thought it was kinda inappropriate. And now I have to either vote or go to the poll anyways and submit an empty vote or else all every thread will be interrupted by this spam. |

New talent
Hi Everybody,
I just finished my gig in my room with DJ Bas half an hour ago. I had an epic weekend with four great shows. I spent a couple of days in Compton, went to Inglewood, a festival in Long Beach and the Global festival at the Palms hotel in Vegas.
Every night I went out with the promoter of the city I was in and most of them where bringing up the DJ Magazine top 100 voting. It's a big thing for most of the promoters and most of them will book DJ's that are high on this list.
That made me think, because if that's the case the voting is important. Especially to breed new talent.
There are so many new great young DJ's out there that I feel it's time to give them a chance. I appreciate all the love and support I get from all over the world but I won this award zero times so if I would win it a first time, it wouldn't make a difference for my career.
For the new talented DJ's around the world it could make a difference, so I would like to ask all the people who support me to vote for new talent.
Don't vote for me, vote for the new breed!

:rolleyes: I suppose you're expecting me to go through every thread on TA and compile a list of threadids that are not to display said message? Sorry, I don't have a few dozen hours to spare - however - if you'd like - you're welcome to compile that list for me and I'll put it into a filter to make sure such a hijack doesn't happen again. |
