The preliminary design for Transids laptop stand. I need to make it higher, I already have the parts made up minus the drilling.
Heres what I came up with. height is adjustable.

my only suggestion would be for you to make a unit that holds only one cd-j. the problem i find with playing cd-j's so close together is the pitch control is way too close to the other play button. if your not careful, its pretty easy to touch it when adjusting the pitch!
great work tho. |

Excellent point. As they sit at the moment, there is an inch gap between the two decks. Its pretty much enough. I have hit the play button with them closer together. |

I have a beat up old pair of techs, and in all honesty, the Geminis kick their ass. Dont knock em till youve played them. They are an identicle replica, stronger motor, didgital pitch display, and has a plus/minus 10% pitch control as opposed to the 8% on the techs. |

I srsly cant wait to pick this up! Its going to make my life so much easier with DJ'in I've gotten used to having my laptop behind my decks or beside when i mix but having it RIGHT THERE is ideal.
I havent seen them personally but these shots are GREAT I'm excited! |

But then why would you buy it a second time if you already have the vinyl? And there's still some releases that are vinyl only. |

no sherlock....
my point being. why would u buy the vinyl and then rip to mp3 when u can get majority of the tracks on mp3 directly :P
things that a dj SHOULD have nowadays should be:
1 mixer (of course)
2 or more CDJs
1 laptop
1 external soundcard for the laptop
1 MIDI controller |
