Yeah yeah yeah... most of you are bitches when it comes to hip hop. But I figured I'd post this anyway.

On Saturday September 16th, Lupe Fiasco and Jean Grae are gonna be at Canal Room. 20$ is not bad for those two. Jean Grae is the best female MC out right now. And Lupe is great. His single is actually about skateboarding.

On Tuesday, September 19th, Jedi Mind Tricks are going to be at SOBs. Jedi Mind Tricks are like Wu-Tang were back then. Hip hop that makes you want to punch someone in the face. Lyrically, Vinnie leaves a lot to be desired, but the beats are consistently outstanding.

I'll definitely be at the Lupe Fiasco show. Not quite sure about the Jedi Mind show yet.

eh dunno wtf Lupe is but Grae is pretty nice. I heard she killed it opening for Talib at Summerstage! dunno if shes nice enough for me to go see her, altho my friend loves her.

on the other hand, Jedi Mind Tricks = thinker!

If Jus Allah was in Jedi Mind, I'd definitely go. He made that second album a classic. I know they made up, but I think this new album was recorded before that. :(

would i be emo if i said

wide spread panic is playing at radio city tonight?

So... I didn't go to Lupe. But I did go to Jedi Mind.

Wow. If I would've known what I was getting, I would've gladly paid 50$. Instead, tickets were only 15$. Music was dope. Performances were even doper. RA the Rugged Man's tracks are not good at all, but he puts on one of the best shows in hip hop.

Highlight of the night for me was getting to meet one of the greatest MCs ever, Tragedy Khadafi. That was unexpected.

Why would that make you emo? Widespread Panic isn't an emo band. They're a hippie jam band.
