I think both Samsung and Sandisk are providing 8gig models.
I just think its funny that Samsung is winning no matter what, considering they supplly all the flash memory for the ipods.
They have turned into a technology giant! Who knew the Koreans would start ruling the electronics industry? |

I won a 30 GB iPod Video (Black) about a month ago and just started using it.
It is VASTLY improved from 1st Gen. Now games you say? Good work Apple. |

| Microsoft's iPod killer won't get very far at all because MSFT doesn't have anything on the back-end while Apple tied in so much through iTunes... It was a genius business move - ethical? Maybe not, but genius nontheless...I'd get the iPod over anything else :D |

Microsoft is trying to get in to a market already dominated by Apple. The only way they could penetrate the market is with either stellar battery life or solid (cheaper than iPod) price point... neither of which have been announced, and neither of which are likely. |

Yeah iTV looks quite cool...like I said Apple constructed a solid back-end and capitalized on that through the iPod which was a genius move...
By the way, I just got iTunes 7 - looks sharp and has some really neat features and additions that definitely make it better than the previous versions :) |

-videos i can watch at home in better quality/sound
-transfers i can do at home that are faster and more reliable
-i can play much better games on my computer
i just want a goddamn portable brick that will store gigs upon gigs of music and that has descetly low impedance for my headphones, can double as a portable harddrive, and that has a long battery life
i dont need any features
i think they should just perfect that standard ipod |

their over priced and the battery goes causing u to purchase a new one for alotta dough.
