| James Ellroy's Novel & Brian De Palma directing... Scarlette Johannson was bound to be in one of these classy .. probably gonna see it in a couple weeks. |

The NY Times panned it pretty bad as well... Disappointing, considering I was really looking forward to another James Ellroy Noir turned into a film... L.A. Confidential is one of my all time favorite films.
I'll probably wait until DVD... |

| I have to watch it, garbage or not just because Sacrlet is in it. She's the hottest woman I've ever seen, at least to my taste. Ever see Match Point? Boring as hell for the first 3/4's of it but it did end cool. I never would have sat through till the end if she wasn't in it. I practically fell in love with her character in Lost In Translation. Or maybe it was just her ass in the beginning.:rolleyes: |

don't waste your time or money. saw it last night. scarlette's role is minimal (and no nude scenes with her) and the acting is so cheesy, i was extremely disappointed. hilary swank was horribly misscast too.
the only decent acting was the mother of hilary swank in the movie. she plays a drunk nut job and there was actually a funny scene or 2 with her in it, that was the best part of the whole movie. there wasn't an ounce of suspense. |
