Too many things to mention. But just now, the Palm Islands in Dubai. I never thought something like that could be achieved. :) |
me too, did u see the show on how they were made? The way it's done is nothing short of miraculous, but how they'd react if another tsunami hit the gulf this time, i dunno. it's very weird how they can do it, esp for people to live on. sadly it's all out of any price i'd ever be able to afford to buy one :(
personally
geography, i love how things happen with it, and related with meteorology. I don't know why, i just have a big fascination for working out why things happen, and the knock on effect, eg like el nino for example. I hope to one day be able to study it all at university but I dunno if I have it in me to do so.
dogs. how they learn, why they do, what makes them so loyal etc
africa. Especially the safari parks. just would love to see them in person, and Namibia's coastline which is home to many rare animals & species
coral reefs
and music. how sound can tweak our sensations, give us feeling, unveil emotions, just with some waves of sound our ears pick up. How some people hear one thing in a track & others hear something else & so forth. |

Yeah I saw the show too. There's also some guy that's planning to make "The World" as well; a little island of each country. A crazy but awesome idea.
I agree on the one with dogs. But I always wonder why they have to be trained to do things while cat's don't. Same goes for us. We have to learn to walk, but most animals already can do this as soon as they're born. I also wonder why we haven't evolved any more or if we ever will; why we've been like this for the last 3 millions years or so.
Yeah, the one on how music triggers us is also another fascinating enigma. :) |

among other things....
1) the cosmos, i.e. the mathematical, structured order of nature;
2) how the Canadian and U.S. govts have embraced out-dated, innappropriate means of responding to drug use;
3) the feeling of being in a club surrounded by hundreds of ppl during the seconds before and after a massive trance build-up;
4) how love can be the greatest thing ever experienced while at the same time it can just as easily amount to feelings of intense depression and heartache;
5) how raw materials are turned into useable goods;
6) space, i.e. the stars, planets, and so on;
7) the Holocaust;
etc etc etc |
