21st Birthday today :-)

Hi everyone. Today, 17 September 2006, is my 21st birthday. I see many people on TA are born on 17 September. Never met anyone in person who had that birth day & month though. Closest I came was one day (on both ends - 16th & 18th). ;-)
This year, I'll be celebrating it next Saturday, 23 September. Not sure what I'll be doing for it yet, though.
Sure beats being born on 13 December (the date I was 'supposed' to be born)... :-) |

Yeah. I began disliking my birthday around my 19th, as my teenage days are done & I didn't do much with 'em (never clubbed, spent a good deal of it playing RPGs on PS1, spent more on my PC downloading music and ROMs/emulation stuff)...
Now, seeing kids being born in 1998 or something & hearing 'retro' being Seal, All 4 One, Jon Secada's older stuff, Madonna being eligible for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in a year or less, I just hope I'm not starting to feel a bit old... :-( I prefer 2D games like Nintendo NES, Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis, some PS1, etc...
Kids starting school this year will be the first kindergarteners who were not born in the 20th century...
I guess I just need to do more with my life.

hell yeah.
i'm coming up to my 22nd and in the last year I've probably done more than most of my teenage years combined. Forget whats happened and start now. |
