| What a great night of tunes......it was one of those rare nights that made me fall back in love with the music. I feel sorry for all that missed this night.....wicked ass house tunes just destroying everyone. MOs closing set was to die for. |

i hid in the drink all night.
on another note, this new sound bylaw is total bull. i arrived at the entrance to the drink around 10:45 when they told me that all the dj gear was being moved from skybar down in to the drink. i asked if this was because it was a little chilly and i was informed that it was because of the new sound bylaw where no amplified music/voices are allowed to be heard from the sidewalk. apparently the police were cruising by the guv on friday night in a boat before midnight when they heard the music from skybar. they hopped off their boat and shut down skybar.
the city of toronto is turning in to . pure .
you would never see dumb bylaws like this in montrel. |

I was at the drink all night, taking some breaks at the skybar... as people said before skybar is complete bull with no one dancing and people jus standing around lol. But the drink was so much fun WOW, i was right in front of the dj jus jumping and dancing and going crazy the beats were SICK.. I liked manzones set better then strongs. Didnt bother going downstairs to avoid the temptation of doing something i would regret later

lol. that would have been me with no camera. decided to take the night off and just hang out for a few hours at the drink.
during the summer there were plenty of people dancing on skybar when the djs were playing up there. most of the dancing would be in front of the dj booth but skybar was just used as a smoking patio last night. if you hadnt noticed, the music was extremely low on skybar because of the new bylaw restricting the amount of sound coming from establishments.
the drink was pretty ripping last night though. good tunes. i dont know if you heard the new mylo remix of a bob sinclair track that fabian strong played. i forgot the name of it but it was awesome. |

love generation was played by fab when i was having a smoke with manzone on the skybar. i was looking over the edge ot the patio to check the lineup when manzone walked up to the speaker to hear what was playing and he came back saying "fab's playing love generation" and i said "i hate that song". :) |
