DJM-600 Mixer problem...need help!

OK here is my setup:
NuMark CDX (2)
DJM-600 mixer
Bose speakers/sub
I hooked one CDX onto the CD1/Line and the second one onto the CD2/Line and switches between Line and Phono are set accordingly. The crossfader assignment is set to 1 and the other one to 2. Master volume and headphone are set to STEREO. For some reason I can only hear one side (right side) on my speakers AND my headphone. When I switched to MONO I can hear both sides.
I tried using one of my NuMark vinyl turntables onto the Phono line and I'm hearing both sides of my speakers and headphone. Everything works great here.
So what I'm trying to find is why am I hearing only one side when I'm using my CDX's? Am I missing any configurations? PLease help me out. Thank you. |

| I'm not that famaliar with the cdx, but are the rca cables exchangeable? If so have you tried using different rca cables? |

What happens if you swap the CDX's round (I'm assuming no differnce).
What happens if you plug in something else to the same input on those channels? If you've got another CD decks, your DVD player - anything with a line output - try it in these inputs, and see what happens.
What happens if you plug into the LINE inputs of all four channels? If you're in line on 1 what you do hear? 2 - what do you hear? and so on.
Have you plugged the CDX's directly into an amp, bypassing the mixer, to see if it's a mixer connection problem, or something goosed with the CDX's themselves?
I can't remember if the CDX's have detachable cabling. If they do - make sure the cables are plugged in correctly to the CDX. (If they've got digital outputs - make sure you've not plugged into the S/PDIF thinking it was the right Analogue output - easily done - I do that on my CDJ's everytime I re-connect.
Hopefully one of these questions will fix your problem. If not - God knows...
