Decinding a Mixer ???

Hey guys, just needing a little help deciding a mixer, and thought this would be the best place to get some proper answers.
i recently got rid of my turntables and have purchased 2 x cdj 1000 MK2s, and also own an efx 500.
Im looking to choose between the pioneer djm 400 or the vestax VMX 185Xl i think its called.
The vestax is a 3 channel with effects send / return which i would be able to use my efx in conjunction with my cdj's, but have heard some excellent stuff about the djm 400.
Am wondering if i can run my efx 500 through a djm 400, and if i can would there be any use, and also looking for value for money (vestax i can pick up for $590 Australian)
any help would be great as im looking to go buy my new mixer in the next couple of days.

| If you alreeady have an efx500 maybe you should forget about the pioneer, beacuse you will be paying for those onborad effects which you obviously dont need. Look into vestax vmc004 or 185. My choice would be Allen & Heath xone 32 or Rane empath. Those two are both 3 channels an have great build/sound quality, they would be awsome with an efx500. You copuld also consider NOU 3 or 4. |
