Anybody ever replace the pitch control on a 1200mk2?

| The pitch on one of my tables is off (does not increase/decrease speed with linearity, +2 is where the "true" speed is). Is it tough to replace the pitch control? How is it done? |

how about you try fixing it before you replace it?
or you can adjust the pots on the circuit board to change the range... just a thought |

You could be a little more specific.
Head over to djforums and search for pitch calibration. That should give you what you need. If you cant find it, search for 1200 pitch and scrounge through the threads till you find it.
The fader itself is not likely to wear out but instead get dirty.
Though not for 1200 sliders, the pics on this page will help you understand how the fader works.

after a party, one of the sliders wasn't working, turns out beer had gotten spilled and inside the slider
had it taken in for repair and a cleaning, some other minor repairs on the other deck as well, wasn't much to fix at all
in total, under $100 for a couple new feet, new rca, new slider and an overall cleaning of both |

Where did you take it? I got it for only $60, so I wouldn't mind putting in $100 to get a little tune-up. |
