"LAPD Busting Up Rave Parties
09-20-2006 3:15 AM
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Los Angeles Police say that Rave Parties continue to occur in the city despite warnings about how dangerous they can be. Lieutenant Paul Vernon says they're always breaking up these type of parties. He says the parties are unsupervised and are a great danger because the people who are putting them on are out to make a buck, they don't care about their customers and won't be there tomorrow. However, he adds that these parties are hard to find, so if you know about one, you are urged to call police.

Heh. Funny.
It's a shame many police have forgotten the 'serve and protect' attitude...
There is really not much difference between what goes on at a house party and what goes on at these so called 'raves'. Kids should go to school and not take drugs. |

Link to article, please?
The truth behind the matter is that most permitted venues are fully supervised. With (usually) the correct amount of security to patron ratio. So the LAPD can go themselves |

| Pissed off at your neighbor? Call the police and tell them there is a rave going on there. |

Actually, I think what goes on at house parties is actually worse. You have some degree of privacy at a house party so people just do anything they want. Not to mention that many rapes occur at house parties and most are never reported. |
