Not exactly. No disrespect to Richard, but Steve was a 'world leader' in his field. Richard is a journalist who gets to drive fast cars. The level of training the two had, was not equal. |

THis is really sad news :(
I cant say how much I have thourally enjoyed his tv personallity on probably one of my favourtite shows. I dont watch a lot of television, but I have seen every episode of Top gear and this news breaks my heart.
Best wishes go out to him from me and gear heads everywhere. |

ORKO - Richard Hammond is a pretty talented driver too. His first career was a journalist, yes. He is soooo much more than that now.
Vehicles he owns : A left-hand drive Porsche 911, two Land Rovers, a Suzuki GSXR1000, a BMW 1150 GS, a second Porsche 911, a Porsche 928, a Morgan V6 Roadster, a 1967 Ford Mustang and several kit cars
