hey peoples,
if you're looking for a good, intimate party going on this weekend, Ori will be playing all night at one of my favorite venues in the city, Keybar... 6 hours of dirty tech, minimal and the occasional classic house tune... :toothless
Keybar: 432 East 13th between 1st and Ave. A
....and after hours at Shelter with:
Kiwi (Lost)
Ori (Satellite Records)
Elon (Cement Recordings)
Galen (801 Sound)
..and Timmy Regisford playing upstairs :)

And where the were you?? :)
We were there for Verndog's B-day and Ori was dropping some great stuff. Audiojack - Robot, Scissor Sisters - Comfortably Numb, and a few tracks I don't know by name, but know Diggers plays. We ran to another b-day and decided to stop by again closer to closing and the place had cleared out, and Ori was dropping a real downtempo set (i.e. Massive Attack, which reminds me, do you want your ticket before the show or meet-up right beforehand?) |
