$20 at the door, $15 on the list. RSVP [email protected].
I know I'm throwing the event but I can't believe this is even a question in people's minds, I knew ATB was coming and I still wanted Sean here the same night! I haven't seen ATB post anything on the forums, but as previously noted on this thread, SEan is the nicest, humblest, and most down to earth guy around, come out on the 21st and show him some LOVE!!! |

oh wow...ive heard great things about Sean...and esp. after Armin dropped 'LIFT' at the Tobacco Warehouse...*wow*
but this time, id have to go with ATB  Missed him when he was at Webster...and I've been kicking myself EVER SINCE...esp with hearing how GOOD hes become lately. I was supposed to be in Cali this weekend, and had been planning on catching ATB in SF on 10.07 -- so this is PERFECT!!!~ who KNOWS when ATB will be back in NYC?
and this time its at a MUCH better venue than Webster Hall, thank god!!!~
Sean -- ill miss you this time but looking fwd to your set at Sully Room in 8 weeks...
Good luck on a future residency here!!! |

| i think people here are crazy, what was the last good track out of ATB? I haven't heard any DJ play his stuff in 6 years! Every DJ is spinning multiple Tyas tracks in a single set and they rant and rave about him. I'd go see Tyas in October and in December. Its the typical New York response though, thats why the good DJs never come here and when PVD and Tiesto come they play crap, NYC likes CHEESE! pitiful! |

I realize you're trying to promote your event, but calling people crazy, criticizing a DJ because of productions, and ripping on NYers in general for their taste in music isn't the smartest way to go about it. To be honest, it pushes me closer to Tejada & Adultnapper (Francis Harris) @ Sullivan Room, which is less cheesy than either, but at a venue I have yet to be impressed by on a weekend.
When ATB played here last time, which was memorial day weekend 2005 for all of you saying he hasn't been here in 2 years, I joked, too, because my sole exposure was his productions. Some people are willing to give him a shot because a good DJ isn't necessarily a good producer, and vice-versa. Reviews of the music were good, though the crowd and venue were not - http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...hreadid=268730. |

I honestly said that as a fan not a promoter (i got into promoting only for the sake of bringing to NY that type of sound), and to rip NYers in general was wrong ( I recognize people have different taste in Electronic Music), i was referring though more to the generic commercial crowd at the big clubs lately, and the DJs there have generally under the request of the promotors and owners play to the crowd. As a long time fan I really miss the Twilo days. |
