I was wondering if anybody has personal advice on wat the volumes should be for Kick , Lead , clap ,bass , etc.

| Start with your kick at -8dB, get your bass sitting perfect with your kick, then everything else flows. There's no specific settings...it's all about what your ears hear. |

Whatever sounds right, is right.
In some 30-odd tracks I don't think I can pick out any two that have the same, or even similar mixer settings for all the basic instruments or categories. |

| I use the default volume on each channel... with EQ and compression adjustment.. but really.. its a matter of what sounds good to you.. some track have the percussions drowned in the lead synths some dont. |

| Just follow your ear, there is no common lvl; as samples are not common to all :) |
