Well, I have roughly about 2500 posts, under different guises and been here since '02... Figuring on average 3 minutes per post (that's not counting the dumb smiley :) posts or some chop sessions that took several hours), add about 5 times that time to read someone's assenine opinion, factor in the time to search for funny STFU or ORLY pictures on Google, watching dumb videos or reading some amuzing news or bits of info, arguing in PM with idiots like Cyrus King, then add time to create a funny Avatar or sig and modify profile at least once every 6 months...
Plus this summer, (may - aug) when I was unemployed, watching World Cup and fighting with other soccer forum hooligans here for straight month and spent about 6 hours each day on TA.
I'd say I wasted about.... a 4 months of my life. Not your Night/day/holiday year. But an actual undiluted time, 60 minutes x 24 hours x 4 months. Quite literally...
I'm sure that on my deathbed (or in that moment of life flashback right before you die) this will be a time I'd wish I had back. Come to think of it. I'm wasting time as it is. now.

I just did a quick calculation - 3600 minutes a year.
I figure I spend 10 minutes once a day, each day (its probably less than that, but for simplicity's sake), over 12 months in a year. |
