WTF!!!! Im pissed i wasted 50$ for this bull. I wasnt feeling any of the sets at all...... moby equaled snooze fest, those in dudes in white suits zzzzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzz, im sorry guys but i thought junkie xl was in LAME AS HELL!!!!!! first of all, is he even a dj or was he just playing a cd? second of all his first song set me up for a major dissapointment cuss every song after that bored the hell outta me. O.k heres what i did like...... John Digweed, he in rocked but his set definately shouldnt have been a headliner. I ended up leaving live 30 or 40 minutes early cuss i was just so dissapointed. Word of advice to UltraFest..... GET SOME GOOD DJ's NEXT TIME!!!!!!!!!! And i know im not the only who feels the same! for 50$ i couldve got really ed up and just listened to music at my house and had way more fun. |
Junkie XL is not a DJ, it's a live performance. Also, why the would you leave during Digweed? That's just your fault. |

Also, here's my point about the crowd - When John started Heaven Scent, no one seemed to know what track it was and there was no real reaction.
To hear John Digweed play that classic out now is a special moment.
squats - Does your family normally have get togethers at 11 pm on Fridays? If so, I'm sorry, cuz that really sucks. |

| Digweed disappointed me @ Crobar I believe a year or 2 ago. $40 for crap. Never again. |

August of 2004?? Worst time I've seen him, and it was completely below how he's been any other time. |

another thought for next time, but they should bring in more festival-friendly acts such as Infected Mushroom or Plump DJs, to name a couple (theres so many more better choices they could have made for the lineup)... |
just fyi - plump dj's don't tour in the US due to some visa issues |

2nd and 3rd are Soulwax |
Soulwax looks pretty sweet. Sorry I missed them.
Glad to see they played NY Excuse. I remember when Sasha played it in Crobar a few years ago at that free BPM event. Awesome song. |

We were there. Glad to see someone's memory is better than ours. I remember how Sasha outshined PvD in terms of intensity in that set, and I'm sure the Soulwax sound had a lot to do with it.

Go Patriot Act and post 9/11 paranoia. Same goes for Laurent Garnier. BTW, hope you guys saw at that Muslims are supposed to leave NYC and DC due to an imminent nuclear attack. |
