| Yeah, his studio is amazing. However, I do think it is possible to make world-class music in a 'bedroom studio'. If you look around his studio you can see that some of his equipment is redundant and obsolete. For example, you can see a rack of Akai samplers. There is no reason to do this in hardware anymore and Software samples like Kontakt 2 are way more powerful than hardware ever was. The only piece of equipment that I would really love to have is the big mixing console. Its a Soundtracs DPC-II and goes for $100,000 too $300,000 depending on configuration. It would be very cool to be able to have your hands on all those channels at once. |
