it took me just under a week to finish this track "journey" and its still in the early stages as everybody else says!!..can anybody else give me some feedback on the track and help me improve it some more in parts and tighen it up.

it has an uplifting trancey sound to it but i wanted the track to come in slowely over time

im using a set of m-audio bx5 as monitors.

here's what i think
1. i think its too long and might want to shorten it.
2. at 4:02, the theme changes suddenly, the buildup before that has no effect then.
3. also its kind of plain, i assume your going to add some tension or synths?

The VERY FIRST kick sounds different then the rest. Honestly, I'd put that first kick in place of all the rest. Sounds strong.

The change that happens at 0:28 should probably happen sooner. I don't know if that simple of a beat should go on for 16 measures. Try 4? Might result in a more interested listener

I like the synth that comes in at 0:57... mellow.

That offbeat synth that comes in at 1:54, I wonder what that would sound like if you widened out even more, just a thought.

At 4:00 there seems to be some kicks out of place

I agree with suneel, make that buildup happen! I like where it's going, but then it doesn't go there. It builds up tension then disappoints. Bring that lead in strong with a good kick, etc.

I like the tune, and your choice of synths/sounds. I just think the arrangement needs some more thought, and some livening up.

I wan't to hear this one finished!
