I am going to Washington next month to see my friends and to go to Victor Calderone @ GLOW: question, would it be like a 10 hour afterhours kind of party or is there no such thing as afterhour hours @ Glow?

I can't remember the last time GLOW had an afterparty. Sometimes there are small get togethers afterwards and sometimes there is a small afterparty up in the VIP room. That is rare. The parties usually end around 4/4:30 at the latest. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

well, you are partially right. i have been to afterparties at glow (in VIP- kinda hard to get into) until like 6:30/7 am. sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't. sometimes the dj even comes to the afterparty and hangs out (armin has done this numerous times).

for calderone, i'm thinking there will be a good one that night because he was a big night the last time i was there. but dc is a pretty big afterhours spot...there are ALWAYS people looking for parties and ALWAYS people throwing them. the dj's at glow usually spin till 4-4:30ish and then you can head over to someone's spot or to VIP.

five is also another good afterhours place...they stay open till well, 5.

you shouldn't have too much trouble finding somewhere..

Afterhours? We dont' really have any thriving afterhours.. everyone always ends up at someone's house..

Hmmmm, thank you guys for giving me heads up about the GLOW VIP situation. I'll try to get me comps for that now, because 6 hour set is nothing for a Calderone fan if he spins from 10pm to 4am which is only half the normal time he spins in Crobar, considering after some other DJ already spinning from Midnight, it is a normally 16 hour party, and us New Yorkers just start getting into the real groove at that 6th hour into Calderone's master mix. YA KNO! :toothless
