OOOH yipee! a new, informational video about the dangers of drug use...are they serious? and has anyone seen this? heh late/

I've seen clips of "reefer madness" in a documentary film called "pot", narrated by Woody Harrelson. To say it's the funniest thing I've ever seen would be an understatement (no I wasn't stoned when I was watching it :p). The Clips I saw were of this man and woman who get stoned in there house, they take one puff of their "reefer" and go off there nut and hit each other with sticks, the guy kills his wife, and they commit him to an asylum cos he's constantly paranoid after smoking the weed, and it turns him insane.
If anyone hasn't seen pot, I recommend it, it explains why cannabis is illegal in most countries, mainly the US government stopping black people from making money in the 20's and 30's, and then enforcing there opinions on every other country. It also debunks the myth that starting out with cannabis leads to taking heroin, using Holland as an example, because there are no "evil drug dealers" the chances ppl will come into contact with heroin buying cannabis are reduced extremely, which is proven by hollands extremely low registered addict rate compared to countries where cannabis is legalised

Much of the concern centers on a report by the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC), an arm of the DOJ, that said "the openness of the Internet, its global reach and its ease of access" allows drug users to push their products on unsuspecting young people. With over 85 percent of American teenagers using the Web on a regular basis, the government sees the news groups and message boards that house rave discussions as a source for the latest information on drugs.

Well, I listen to a lot of "techno music", and just like everyone else who has ever listened to "techno music" or been to a "rave" I do enough drugs to kill a small horse, and also deal a lot of drugs to unsuspecting children over the internet. It's true! The first place I ever go when I want to offload a few kilos of coke is the the Yahoo Chat 14-17 room! Those kids lap it up!

I mean, I never used to have a drug problem. But then one day this evil kid gave me a joint, and before I knew it I was addicted. I used to be a good boy who tried hard in school and respected his parents, but then I used to start smoking a j once a week guys. From here there was no going back. The second you start smoking marijuana semi-regularly man, you get all ed up and . Before I knew it I started doing heroin at "raves" listening to that "techno music" in dark rooms with lots of other junkies. Some people tell you that marijuana is actually a safe drug, and that some people go to raves to appreciate the music and have fun, but it's not true. Marijuana turned me into an immoral person, just like everyone else who has ever been to a "rave". All "raves" are just cover ups to allow hard-core junkies like me to be able to deal ketamine to unsuspecting little girls. I'm glad the FBI finally realised this before it was too late!

I also think it's good that the FBI have finally caught on to how everyone who does drugs is necessarily evil. Once the government teaches everyone just how bad drugs are through archaic hard-harded bullying tactics this world will be a better place and the youth will become sensible people with neat haircuts who go to church and become things like accountants instead of becoming loud-mouthed "disk-jockeys" with their own opinions and stuff. I only wish the FBI was there to bust my ass when I was smoking that J, perhaps I wouldn't have become the evil semi-regular soft-drug-doer that I am today. I think two years in the lock-up would have made me into a much better person!

So let's hear it for the US government! C'mon boys, if you just implemented a more draconian anti-drugs policy you could win this war! Do it for the kids!

now.. if that didn't make any sense, that's alright. i didn't really expect it to make much of it. this is retarded, i'm glad i live in canada. but if america is starting this b.s. then we can't be too far behind. isn't this a bit too invading?

man, i swear...i lose more and more faith in the US government everyday....i wish things would change, but it will take a long time. i love holland because weed is legal...oops, maybe i shouldn't say that b/c i might get hauled off to jail. sure drugs have side effects...and this includes cigarettes, caffeine, and alcohol. but yet its legal and socially acceptable to use the three i mentioned...althought cigarettes are starting to be less socially acceptable in the US. wow...i could go on forever, but all my bitching ain't gonna do ...if we want things changed than we need to start voting and build a "demographic" for politicians to concentrate on. Jesse Venture, the gov. of Minn., said in an issue of Rolling Stone that if more young people started to vote than politicians would focus more on issues important to young people. just a thought...

Okay, I'm not much into this. I mean, I've never taken drugs nordo I intendto. I joke around sometimes, but that's all.

nevertheless, I do not agree at all with the methods used. I don't know if it breaks he american first amendament, but it is for sure something that breaks anyother laws, most of them of morality and sense.

I guess the DOJ guys are out of inspiration. plus, why track websites? raves are advertised through flyers, and they must be allowed. which means someone, other then ravers, know about their existance.

did the word become just a synonim for getting high? U don't see us with needles around or dozen of joints, nor do the effects of the ocassional 'trips' are eaily spotted by those aorund us; hell, how many people told me, seriously, I was on E and I wasn't. what else must we bear until we will be let to manifest freely? are we that bad? terrorists? they make wars and they call us criminals. for what? what's our crime? cuz we dare to escape everyday life somehow? and they envy us. they look for ways to destroy us. so?... them (with their law)!

k, maybe I am not making sense. maybe everyone feels the same so I haven't said anything new. but there's too much bull in everybody lately. bottom line, this is big big bull. all have to sffer bc they don't have any other way to prevent drug use but by invading everyone else's privacy. I feel sorry for them, if tha's how low they've come.

sorry for not makin sense to some. my ideas are kinda ravaged right now.

* goes and deletes a few old posts *

Anyway the DOJ have no power over me :D And even if they felt like contacting UK authorities, they've got better things to do than lock a load of people up for some recreational drug use.

On the other hand though, if anybody thought this site was being used for the same purposes as Bluelight (which I would consider more drug-oriantated than rave-oriantated - at least it was when I used to use it) then it could lead to future problems as far as TA is concerned. Not that I had any problem with Bluelight, other than that some if the users in the drug discussion sprouted quite a few myths.

true, Spad; I don't think they could get to me either. but this is more write or wrong issue. it will not directly affect many of us, especially those that do not use drugs; but let's say they don't like the fact that some posters here talk 2 much about them. I don't know if they have authority (I doubt it, cuz this is Canada and that is US but... I ain't sure) but just the thought about it...

there are sites out there that are more in-depth about drugs. urban75 had a guide of how to sneak drugs at parties and clubs; what drugs (E especially) contain, and so forth.

are these websites dangerous? this is a question to which many would say yes, except maybe those that use'em. but isn't America a place of democracy? allowing drugs to be legal is like telling everyone 'yeah, it's okay to use'em, go ahead', so it's not a good idea to do it.

but just let it be. people using drugs have made a choice. I believe evryone should be free for everything that they do - as long as it does not influence those around him (negatively of course). but closing down some sites just bc they deal with this subject is just immature and too conservatoristic (hope this word exists :)). people have the right to inform themselves and eachother about anything.

even drugs.

Welcome to the sad sad world of the drug war. Personal rights and common sense are hard to keep with the madmen at the DEA.

If this shocks you people, you should hear the multiple of unbelievable stories about what the drug war does to law abiding citizens.. Even worse are the horror stories of people who lose their homes, lifes, all over a few marijuana plants in their houses.

The DEA wanted to pass a bill allowing them to use infared heat sensors to look into anyones houses without any cause/warrant etc...

Since my website deals with drugs I'm constantly thinking about what ridiculous things the DEA is upto. The stories that I hear on a weekly basis make me sick, how far the DEA goes to ruin lives of people who don't deserve it.

It won't be long before the Shroomery website gets moved up here to Canada where the out of control drug war can't touch us.

Ironic how the DEA is telling Canada to be tougher on drugs by making sentences harsher in Canada. Most wonderfull thing is that in BC the courts their told the US DEA to piss off basicly, a country with so many problems in the drug war shouldn't be telling anyone how to deal with it. Especially when here in Canada marijuana is not far from being de-criminalized and eventually legalized.

The DEA and friends tried to shut down raves permanently, they failed, but they will continue using any and ALL means (legal/illegal) to get at the ravers and the drugs...

If there is one thing I could hope people would learn, is that the DEA is one of the most dangerous and out of control organizations since Hitler's SS.. I am not saying this jokingly either

thor...dude, you're so right about the DEA...but, i think the supreme court overruled the idea of using heat sensors to detect growing lamps...or at least law enforcement can't only use these sensors to target specific individuals....they have to have some other proof of them growing...i might have it wrong, but i read this in this month's issue of High Times....i'll look it up....
