I got the earplugs, and they are fine and feel comfortable, but when I put the headphones it feels a little uncomfortable.

is this normal?

Thanks
almar
Well, I suppose yes. I have the ER-20 earplugs & I can't use my headphones properly. I think they are really good in clubs.

Thanks for the reply, butthat still doesnt answermy question.

the ER-20 has only one sized, while the ER-15 are custom made, so I wonder if the custom made should feel a little uncomfortable when using the headphones.

Thanks

Having never owned a pair myself my assumption is that like any pair of earplugs there is some adjustement time needed before you are completely comfortable using them.

when I wear my headphones I feel a little uncomfortable.

So I would like to know if ti's normal to feel like this

after several hours of use, you'll forget they're there... and you're better off that way.

they're the best investment a DJ could make..... after the mixer, headphones and decks of course :D

Do you need to wear them with headphones? I just wear mine when I'm going out. I don't have the customs though.

Do plugs eventually take the shape of your ear, like shoes?

er-15's are custom molded so they dont need to take shape they should be ready to wear off the bat

Problem comes when you put the H/P on, it slightly alters the shape of your ear canal by putting pressure on the outer edge. Only way I can think you'd get around that is by wearing the H/P when being fitted, but that's not really practical.

You could always try different headphones untill you find some big comfy ones that go well with your earplugs.

Will feel weird if your headphones are the type that sit on your ear (like HD-25s) as opposed to ones that go over/around your ear (like sony 7506s)
